Assignment to design a book cover for a children's book.
Synopsis:
Ruby is a 10 year old monkey, who wants to be an astronaut in the future and always stargazes using his telescope. Ruby feels a different excitement inside, on the night of his 11th birthday and he waits for his parents to sleep to find out what is going on. After his parents sleep Ruby gets up, looks out the window and sees that he is in space, on another planet. He immediately runs to the door to see what is happening and gets out of the house. He can’t believe what he sees, he wants to see every corner of this place and while he is running around, he suddenly finds himself lost, in a forest formed by giant mushrooms. After running and looking for the exit for a long time, Ruby feels exhausted, sleepy and hungry. Ruby decides to take one bite out of one of the mushrooms, and as he bites one, he suddenly sees his cat, Luna among the mushrooms. He realises that he had left the door open as he left. At the same time the mushroom Ruby had bitten makes everything seem more colourful and moving. However, Ruby had promised himself not to go back home without Luna. With his imagination, Ruby thinks of this as an adventure where he is an astronaut and finding Luna is a mission for him to complete. After a funny and colourful adventure, singing and dancing, Ruby finds his cat Luna, and they go back home together.
